Testing Requirements
thanks for coming in to test for me
please note the following when testing for me:
*Linking your pattern: when the pattern is released please link your project, this not only promotes the pattern, but shows it in different yarns and sizes for those wishing to knit it.
*please take clear photos of your test knit. When doing this its advisable to take them outside, the light and space are better and shows of the knit better. I have taken the time and effort to design a pattern, you have taken the time and effort to knit it, show it off at its best! This also shows in detail the finished knit to those who wish to knit it also.
*please finish within the allotted time frame, if for some reason you think you might not be able to, either do not sign up, or let me know if life has got in the way. I like to leave about a week after testing finishes to finalise the pattern, so a few days is ok as long as you let me know.
*guage/tension very important, if yours is out, the pattern cannot be tested properly. sizing will be off and so will yardage.
*modifications to the pattern, please do not mod the pattern in any way unless you have okayed it with me first, any mods can affect end yardage, so I need to know first, we might be able to measure or something and your mods will be fine, just let me know.
*copyright, please note that if you give any or part of the pattern to anyone else, be it hard copy or emailed, I will no longer ask you to test and delete you from being a member here. please respect my work. I drive my husbeast crazy with it
*payment, This will be the finished pattern upon its release, gifted on ravelry, as well as your freedom to knit this pattern for sale. You will be listed down as a copyrighted licensee of the pattern should you wish to custom knit it for others. Sorry I do not post hard copies of patterns.
*Sizing please ONLY put your hand up for testing if you have ready access to the model for that size.if changes to the pattern are made, fitting may need to happen mid test and thus, please only volunteer to test if you have the sized model in question, thanks.
*contact if you are having ANY issues with any of my patterns during testing, please post in the thread. If you do that, I can answer there and others who are having the same problem, or are not yet at that section, will be informed also. Please do not pm with testing questions.
thanks so much for reading, I love to see my designs knitted up and I get a squee moment every time lol.
Im at stay at home mum of 6, so sometimes my net time may be constricted, but I will do my best to be here all the time during testing periods. I will post in the testing thread if I will be out for the day.
you will need to post here to show you have read this for me to allocate you into the testing group for the patterns.
